Me and my friend were doing Great Northern Wall with our new lvl 8 characters. A lvl 20 N/Me joined our group, I was thinking "Great, a bored lvl 20 helping people do missions, how nice.". So, what he did was get 10 minions off the first fight, then he starts shouting "comwe here" "comwe here" "comwe here", so we all are waiting around him, wondering what he wants. Then he starts spaming BotM...go figure. Unfortunately, I was the only one to realize what was gonna happen and ran away from him, the other 2 guys died.
And now when I think about it, it doesn't really make me mad, because honestly, is this the lamest, cheapest thing ever or what? I have 5 other lvl 20 characters and I couldn't care less about a minion master who doesn't even have flesh golem and finds the idea of ruining the mission for new players funny. But I suppose if that poor idiot does this to a group of real newbies, they would be pretty shaken up. |

What's going on with you people?" response - "Our monk isn't doing his job..." or "Our monk is spending more time healing you then us dumbass..." - joke's on them, I use Parasitic bond on my targets and the monk really didn't heal me much... hmm...  "Mending is great cause I dont' need the energy and I'm always healing... You /N can't heal..." er... this one takes the cake... myself - "Super 1337 warrior able to do Thunderhead Keep + bonus monkless!!!" response - "Are you sure?", "STFU you noob", "W/N? No way...", "LIAR..." etc... The funny part? The very few people who were waiting for like 4 hours for a monk said I talk tough shit and joined my party cause they said they had nothing better to do... 1 hour, 15 mins. later we get mission and bonus... For Thunderhead Keep... Yeah... Life is good...

Ok, did Arborstone Mission with my Warrior today...
got a team, 1 monk and a hench monk, but we failed at the end, our human monk died, so Danika died due to some massive Oni spiking :P ( and no healing )but there was also this assasin, who behaved like a warrior, charging straight in, not withdrawing when low on hp .. he died like 6+ times in the whole mission thats the convo after we had returned to arborstone when we had failed: His reply came about 4 mins later i really dont wanna know what he would have cut me off if he had thought me to be a girl ^^ |

Couple of weeks ago... I was selling some weapon and this guy starts asking me every possible question about the item and its uses. When it's all said and done he says "I wouldn't pay you anything for it...I can find it myself. I can find anything."
So, whatever. I go on with the game. Like 30 min later...guy runs up to me...hits the trade button, and then hits cancel real quick and says. "See..I found you. Told you, I can find anything." and proceeds to run circles around me for 5 min. Not so much a jerk as someone who clearly continued to ride the proverbial "short bus" through life. |

Whilst attempting the Wilds bonus for my protector title, I came upon a lvl 20 MM who was doing the same. Yay, says I, as I invite him into my party. After he accepts i ask the party if everyone is ready, they are, so we enter. At the first cutscene, I choose not to skip it. I had just gotten done with the factions campaign and it had been almost a year since I had done the Kryta missions so I wanted to sit back and watch this scene. Upon completion of the scene the MM procedes to cuss out the entire group for not skipping, because "his minions are totally f****ed!" Chuckling to myself, I proceed to inform him of the not too recent update of the cutscenes! Fun fun fun. He continues to vigorously cuss me out until he finally realizes that his minion's degen had not increased by one pip thoughout the whole scene.
That is not so much about not reading the updates, just about jerks who cannot accept something new. I found it hilarious when he called me a "nub" and then didnt say anything else thoughout the mission. FYI Not all Wammos are morons! |

More along the lines of complete asshattery than jerkiness but the most recent one that comes to mind. |

I was scrolling through my old screenshots to delete a few when I found this one - short and funny.
Usually I'm more polite when someone ask me if I wanna join his guild since I left mine ("No thank you") but there I was just tired. There were like 2 mins between his replies. EDIT - One more, in Raisu Palace: I had just made a bad joke on the public chat - that was bad taste (however not vulglar) and just after I precised that was a joke - a few players laughed at it, but one guy started like: Jerk: REPORTED! Jerk: <insert my name> u r reported! Someone (public chat instead of trade chat): W T S something for 10k Jerk: REPORTED! I REPORT YOU! Someone else: Calm down, man Jerk: I REPORT YOU TOO! Then everybody started laughing at this bitter boy... Jerk: Player 1, YOU'RE REPORTED! Jerk: Player 2, REPORTED! Jerk: REPORTED! Jerk: REPORTED! Jerk: REPORTED! Jerk: U R ALL REPORTED! Jerk: BUT I'M GONNA REPORT YOU FIRST, <my name here>! Of course, everybody was telling him how pathetic he was, and laughing at him. He finally found me, stood in front of me, and /ranked his tiger. My monk had the misfortune to meet the biggest jerk.
For some reason I agreed to be the only monk in a group of 8 for Tahnakai Temple mission, and of ppl (warriors necro elems i had to heal) a Rangers pings his health everytime it goes below 75% repeatedly. So it's the longest spam in the world. The 1 time I get attacked and have to run back a bit the ranger who for some reason believed he was a tank dies -_- And the blame and the swearing at the monk from the ranger was neverending. In this case I couldn't care less because all I have to do is leave the game and then noone is surviving. But the rest of the players stepped up in my defense, I didn't leave and we all made it

I got into a group for the Sunjaing District mission, playing a MM cookie cutter build (honestly, easier to use the builds so people don't argue). I was the 6th person to enter the group, and they were still looking for a second monk. Sounds fairly normal so far, right? They talk to me about my build, making sure I had Flesh Golem, and all. After they invite person #7, another Necromancer requests to join, and and they were already partnered with another monk. I had been part of this group for 15 minutes by this point.
Now, I am sure everyone here can see this coming: they dump me with no explanation, and take that necro and monk pair.  I found this horribly rude, and it causes me to SERIOUSLY doubt that group leader's ethics. They were thinking only of themselves. An apology would have been nice.  To show them (although they never knew), I proceeded to beat the mission with henchies. Didn't take long either! I had never been dumped from a group before. I felt so shocked. Guess that was pretty naive of me, but I have had so many good experiences with random groups. I found my current guild by joining a random group. They're great.

During the Elite weekend, I met a kid who seemed to be pretty cool playing a W/Mo. During our discussion I found out he was wheelchair bound. I log off, then come back a couple hours later. He offers to help me and we decide to do the Deep Elite Mission. After what seemed like an hour of trying to get together 12 people
we start. I think these Elite missions brought out the worst in people. We do 'ok' to start. Towards the end, it starts getting hairy. This kid tries to pull, but half the group follows him. Then they proceed to yell at him. He had even told us to stay and that he was going to pull. Of course, it just got worse, as the verbal abuse got to rediculous levels. Finally, the kid whispers me and says he can't take the abuse anymore and that if I need his help to whisper him and he leaves. Through all the abuse, he never yelled back. Sometimes people are such jerks and could care less about the person driving the character. |
